ITINERARY
Day 1. Hobart, Russell Falls, Strahan
On arrival in Hobart today, your tour begins with a journey along the famous Derwent Valley. Arrive at Mt Field National Park, Tasmania's oldest national park, where a short walk takes you to the spectacular Russell Falls. Then, travel deep into stunning Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area to Lake St Clair before visiting The Wall in the Wilderness. This evening you'll enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the waterfront at Strahan Village.Stay: Two Nights: Strahan Village

Day 2. Gordon River Cruise, Freedom of Choice
Join a breathtaking cruise aboard the Lady Jane Franklin II across Macquarie Harbour deep into the Gordon River wilderness. Enjoy guaranteed window seating and lunch on board. Stop at Heritage Landing for a gentle walk through the ancient rainforest, then visit the former penal colony of Sarah Island. Later, explore the picturesque town of Strahan, then choose where to dine. Day 3. Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain, Freedom of Choice

This afternoon, choose from a range of Freedom of Choice Sightseeing activities. Day 4. The Nut, Woolnorth, Cape Grim, Smithton
Journey along the scenic north-west coast to the historic town of Stanley, where you will visit The Nut – a volcanic rocky outcrop that rises 150 metres from the sea. Continue to Woolnorth and tour the state’s largest wind farm. Tour nearby Cape Grim and breathe in the crisp, refreshing air, known to be the cleanest in the world. Day 5. Sheffield, Ashgrove Cheese Factory, Woolmers Estate, National Rose Garden, Launceston

This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Ashgrove Cheese Factory where you will have the opportunity to taste their specialty handcrafted cheese. Later, take a guided walk around the historic Woolmers Estate. Wander through the museum and take a leisurely stroll through the impressive National Rose Garden, which is considered to be one of the finest collections of historic roses in the Southern Hemisphere.
